Wine and Gastronomy in Argentina

The history of Argentine viticulture began five centuries ago with the first European immigrants, they are the ones who were in charge of distributing the vines in various regions of the country. Over the years, some geographical areas have shown to have the best terroirs for the development of certain vines, Malbec being, without a doubt, the one that has best acclimatized. Argentina is the world’s leading producer of Malbec with some 44,000 hectares planted, making it its flagship variety.

Argentine Malbec wine is recognized worldwide and for this reason it is continually awarded in various international competitions. In the same way as their vineyards, the immigrants brought their gastronomy to this country, which somehow mixed with the gastronomy of its aboriginal peoples, generating its own identity, standing out for the excellent quality of its raw materials.

In this way, it can be said that Argentina has excellent conditions for them to experience pairings of a good category and with their own identity.
